The mission of our organization is to promote democracy and respect for human rights in the countries of Central Asia.

Our Association promotes democracy in Central Asia.

Our main goal is to support organizations and individuals in their struggle for democracy and human rights in Central Asia.

Members of the Board of our Association:

Ahunov Pulatjan — Chairman. He is the one of the founders of the democratic movement of Uzbekistan, former political prisoner, was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1989-1991. He worked together with the Nobel laureate, well-known politician, dissident Andrei Sakharov and Boris Yeltsin in the opposition Interregional Deputy Group.

Khalmurad Soyunov — Member of the Board. He is the former member of the Turkmenistan parliament and well-known campaigner for human rights.

Anvar Ousmanov — Member of the Board. He is the one of the founders of the democratic movement of Uzbekistan, journalist, former correspondent for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, RFE/RL.

Akbarali Oripov — Member of the Board. He is the one of the leaders of the people’s movement «Birlik» of Uzbekistan, a former political prisoner.

Muslima Kuchkarova — Member of the Board, Executive Secretary of the Board. She is the civil society activist. Photo is not available for personal reasons
